Jenn Gardiner Minor Hockey Scholarship

A proud Greater Vancouver Comets alumna, Jenn’s journey began in local minor hockey before advancing through the BCEHL, earning a scholarship to The Ohio State University, winning two NCAA National Championships, representing Canada on the international stage, and achieving her dream of playing professionally in the PWHL. She became one of the first players to progress through the BC female hockey pathway and reach Team Canada at the Women’s World Championship and Olympic level.

What makes Jenn so important to our program is not just where she ended up, but how she got there. She embodies the values of hard work, perseverance, leadership, humility, and commitment to her teammates. Every young player who wears a Comets jersey can look at Jenn and see a path that is possible for them.

The Jenn Gardiner Minor Hockey Scholarship is intended to support eligible Comets players who demonstrate both financial need and a commitment to academic achievement, community involvement, and participation in Canadian minor hockey. In order to remain eligible all athletes must complete volunteers service hours and maintain a high average GPA which aligns with our goals of creating well rounded student-athletes and people.
